      Hi all,

I am designing a board and felt I would take your suggestions. The board I'm designing will be driving 8 seperate board that has 14 WS2812b RGB LED's on each board. So totally the controller board will drive 14x8 = 112 WS2812b LED's.

I've learnt from online sources that approximately these ws2812b led will draw 50mA at max. So by calculating the max current drawn is 5.6A and I also have an ESP32 with some other normal peripherals. So rounding it I thought of using a DC power jack that can tolerate 6A and supply voltage would be 12V.

Can anyone suggest me any plugs or jacks that are widely used and easy for integration? Help would be much appreciated.

        What about JST Connectors?

@salmanfaris Does JST have such high power connectors?? It shouldn't be something like header connections. I need it to be like DC barrel connector kind of connectors. And that connector must not heat up even at 6A

            easy for integration?

Thes pins can handle 6A or more and easy to use and available local shops.

@salmanfaris yeah I've got suggestions like these from people but I'm making more professional product which will be implemented at offices and public places. So I need more like DC barrel plug in kind of thing.

How many connectors/terminal do you need? how frequently you need to disconnect and connect plug?

@salmanfaris I would need any connector like a barrel jack. The mating cycle per month is very low, something like 2 times it might be removed and connected. These devices will be powered on most time of the day.

@kowshik1729 Then go with a standard barrel jack, it can handle 6A.

The hotel I work at recently came under new ownership, and they’re planning to implement a housekeeping uniform policy soon. We’re a small property, just 5 floors, with about 10 housekeepers working weekends, and, there’s been no dress code.

Right now, I wear black T-shirt, pants, apron and tennis shoes. They’re thinking about switching to housekeeping dress, but I’ve never worn them before. I’m not sure if they’re actually comfortable or suitable for active, hands-on cleaning tasks.

Are housekeeping dresses or hotel housekeeping uniforms typically more practical? I’d love to hear from anyone with experience. If dresses actually work well as staff uniforms, please tell me, where’s a good place to get a set on my own?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

Signal Hunt: An ESP-NOW Workshop & Treasure Hunt

Hello everyone! We’re planning on organizing a two-phase event that explores device-to-device communication using ESP-NOW protocol :

Workshop: Participants learn to build and program ESP32-based receivers with a web interface that directly exchange signal data using ESP-NOW for RSSI-based distance approximation.

Signal Hunt Competition: Equipped with these receivers, participants will track hidden ESP32 transmitters scattered around the campus, each with distinct point values.

                      Current hardware setup:
                      Reciever(one per team):
                      Esp32 ~ 360rs
                      9v battery = 20rs
                      9v battery clip= 5rs
                      buck converter (MP1584 or LM2596) ~ 45rs
Perfboard + male to female berg strip ~30rs
                      Total per reciever ~ 460rs
                      Transmitters :6
Components same as recievers = 460*6~2760rs

(using non-rechargeable batteries to reduce cost,
will using a 7805 voltage regulator IC be a viable way to reduce cost further?)

We’d love your suggestions on ways to simplify hardware, reducing the cost, secure partnerships and funding, or enhance the interactive elements. Thank you, looking forward to any ideas that can help make the event engaging and successful!

I am trying to set up a janus webrtc to stream an RTSP to an HTML page.
I have followed the getting-started steps by Janus-gateway official github repo.

Since I am new to web development. I do not understand how to host the Webrtc server. can anyone guide me to set up an HTML page that can display a video stream from an RTSP server using janus webrtc?

                    • @zainmuhammed Can try capturing the GPS when the device is starting the loop instead after joining the LoRaWAN and see?

You can put the GPS value on top of the loop or setup function.

Also, what kind of gateway are you using? Is it configured okay, OTA is done?

here you can see that GPS value is 0,0. also in my previous post you can see that GPS value is not reading.
Also the status LED is active after it is connected to the satellite.
