Purpose and Significance of RF stiching?

  • Hi all,

I've been recently trying my hands in high speed and RF PCB designs. I have recently learnt that we need to stitch the high speed traces all along their way. I have read many sources saying different reasons. But, I haven't landed on any solid answer. Please do explain me this concept if any one knows this. Thanks in advance..!!

  • Via stitching is a technique used in PCB design to reduce the EMI , to keep the short return loops and maintain the low impendence through tracks. especially on the larger copper areas

  • @saheen_palayi Thanks for the answer.
