The Open Hardware Summit is the annual conference organized by the Open Source Hardware Association a 501(c)(3) not for profit charity. It is the world’s first comprehensive conference on open hardware; a venue and community in which we discuss and draw attention to the rapidly growing Open Source Hardware movement.

The Open Hardware Summit was founded in 2010 by Alicia Gibb and Ayah Bdeir with support from Peter Semmelhack and Bug Labs in its founding years. Read more about the history of the organization and feel free to contact us with any questions.

From 2013-2018 the Open Hardware Summit was chaired by Addie Wagenknecht. In 2020, we welcomed Rolly Seth as chair, and the Summit was held virtually in light of the Covid-19 pandemic. For the 2021 Summit, which is also being conducted virtually, our chair is libi rose striegl. The Summit chair also serves as a board member.

Tickets are available and for sale on Eventbrite. Standard and Backer tickets must be purchased by March 25 to help ensure your goodie bag arrives before the summit.

Seeed is currently counting down for the 10 year anniversary of the debut of Grove 🎉. In the past 10 years, we have seen many wonderful projects created by Grove from our user and community. We want to invite you to join us to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of Grove 🤩.

In the Grove 10 Years Celebration, we’d like to collect the stories of “Grove with You”, which we want to invite our users to share their stories they have with Grove products.

=> What project you’ve made out of Grove?
=> What is your favourite Grove?
=> which one was the first Grove you’ve purchased?

Seeed encourages you to post and share photos, videos, stories of Grove in the Seeeed Forum, or any other platforms below that you’d like to use.

The following ways to find us, and tag #grove10 to share the project with us!

Twitter (@seeedstudio) Instagram (@seeedstudio) or simply email your project to grove10@seeed.cc

Feel free to be creative in documenting your projects–we will be selecting top 10 most “Grovy” winning entries from the submissions, and the winners will receive a $100 Grove Surprise Pack 😋 as a special gift.

Looking forward to seeing your projects! 🥳
