The Jack Ma Foundation and Alibaba Foundation jointly established the Global MediXchange for Combating COVID-19 (GMCC) programme, with the support of Alibaba Cloud Intelligence and Alibaba Health, to help combat the global outbreak of the novel coronavirus, COVID-19.
This programme was established to facilitate online communication and collaboration across borders, as well as provide frontline medical teams around the world with the necessary communication channels to share practical experience about fighting the pandemic.
This centre offers overseas Chinese compatriots with COVID-19 prevention and treatment consultation from frontline doctors and supports medical scientific research institutions with AI, big data, and cloud computing capabilities. This Global MediXchange for Combating COVID-19 (GMCC) is composed of four centres: Resources Sharing Center, which shares authoritative anti-epidemic information; International Medical Expert Communication Center, which is dedicated for medical staffs to exchange real-time clinical experience of the latest epidemic prevention and control; COVID-19 Chinese Consultation Center, which provides overseas Chinese compatriots with real-time health consultation and online Q&A; and Fighting COVID-19 Technology Center, which shows cutting-edge anti-epidemic technologies.Handbook of COVID-19 Prevention and Treatment: https://covid-19.alibabacloud.com/

Download the OS for your device Download & Install Balena Etcher Flash the OS to an SD card and power on the device Now you are part of the Global fight against COVID-19
Device : Raspberry Pi 4, 4GB
SD : 32 GB Samsung EVOA High bandwidth speed connection is NOT compulsory. Since the calculations happen inside your raspberry as a host, with little interaction with the network. You get packages, you compute them (~24h), you send them.
The data consumption is not high, I couldn't monitor it separately today. I will update it.

The Fold for Covid project aims to make it easy to donate spare compute capacity to support COVID-19 research with a few simple steps. This effort contributes to the Rosetta@Home project, led by the Baker Laboratory at the University of Washington, which uses distributed computing to help scientists and doctors find potential treatments for COVID-19.
Your contributions help researchers look for proteins that bind to the famous “spike” protein on COVID-19. By finding these binding proteins, doctors hope to develop medicines that prevent the virus from entering healthy cells.
